Overview

 We specialise in using LS-Dyna to produce lightweight automotive vehicle structures for crash and other attributes.

We are the only SME to have won the “Future of Lightweighting” award from Altair in 2025, for our LS-Dyna lightweighting structural optimiser Enlighten in achieving a 77% body-in-white mass reduction .

Designing an automotive structure is time consuming and challenging.

Complex transient loadings, dynamic performance targets and high non-linearity do not translate well to traditional equivalent static load techniques causing huge structural inefficiencies and programme bottlenecks.

Enlighten is able to automate and lightweight vehicle structures by working directly with LS-Dyna to iteratively redistribute and remove material. to converge on a highly optimised solution that meets all performance objectives.

By using native crash solvers these solutions are pre-validated for crash.

We aim to help OEMs and the supply chain to design structures faster, cheaper and lighter by offering Enlighten as a software package as an alternative to traditional methods.
